See it in action

A quick look through the pages.

Nine sections. Something new on every page.

Every page is a different job for little hands — from the zip on their own coat to the numbers on a clock.

Nine in one
01Nine in oneFastening strips, numbers and signs, a farm puzzle, a clock and calendar page and the alphabet.
Real fastenings
02Real fasteningsA zip, shoe laces, an adjustable buckle, belts, gears, a toggle and clothes buttons.
Pieces that come off

Child busy with the felt book in a car seat

Made for the car seat

Zip it shut and it carries like a little bag, so it comes along wherever the waiting happens: a long drive, a flight, a table at dinner, the doctor’s waiting room. Nothing to charge and nothing that beeps — just something for busy hands to do.

What their hands are learning

Each page practises a real skill, so play time is quietly doing some work.

01
Getting dressed
Zips, laces, buckles and buttons — the same fastenings on their own clothes and shoes.
02
First numbers and letters
Counting, simple sums, the alphabet and telling the time, all hands-on.
Farm busy book closed with carry handles, shown with its open activity pages and felt numbers
03
Fine motor control
Pinching felt pieces, threading laces and turning gears strengthen little fingers.
04
Focus and independence
Montessori-style: your child does the task, rather than watching something else do it.

Excellent educational material, I bought it to stimulate my baby through the Velcro, but it has also been very useful for my 4-year-old daughter to learn numbers and letters.

My daughter’s gonna love it looks just like the photo the pieces do come separate along with the sticky velcro pieces so you do have to put those on but other than that is super cute. Looks just like the photo.

Before you order

The things parents ask us most about this one.

What age is it for?

It is made for toddlers and preschoolers. The youngest enjoy the gears, squeaker and turning the pages; the laces, buckles, letters and sums come into their own as they grow. It has small removable felt pieces, so play should always be with a grown-up nearby.

Does it need batteries?

No. There are no electronics at all — nothing to charge, no lights.

How big is it?

About 11 × 13.3 in (28 × 34 cm) when closed, with two carry handles on top.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air-dry. We do not recommend the washing machine: it is felt, and the hook-and-loop does not like it.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Order by December 14 and it should. Christmas falls on Friday, December 25 this year. Orders placed after December 14 may still make it, but we cannot promise it.

How much is shipping?

Free. Standard US shipping is included on every order, with no minimum. Delivery times are set out in our shipping policy.

The next long car ride, sorted.
