See it in action

Watch a word get spelled out, one car at a time.

Draw a card. Drive the letters. Spell the word.

Spelling practice that feels like a car game.

1Pick a wordStand a picture card, like ISLAND, in the slot at the top of the board.
2Drive the carsGuide the lettered cars through the streets with the magnetic pen — no lifting, no dropping.
3Park to spellLine them up along the bottom row to spell the word, or park each one on its own letter.

Quiet focus, with a steering wheel

Moving a car through a maze with a magnet takes a steady hand and a plan. Children practise letter recognition, spelling and pen control at once, and it keeps them still for longer than you would expect.

What it practises

One board, several early-learning skills.

01
Letters a to z
Matching each car to its lowercase parking space.
02
First spelling
Building the word on the picture card, letter by letter.
Three ways to play: cars scattered, every car parked on its own letter, and a word spelled out
03
Pen control
A steady grip that carries over to drawing and writing.
04
Planning ahead
Working out a route round the other cars before setting off.

Busy board or tablet?

Both keep a little one busy on a long trip. Only one leaves them with new skills.

A bit small, but quite nice for distracting children and teaching the alphabet.

The game is nice, I thought it would be a bit bigger.
From there it arrived well, it wasn't damaged or anything, my son liked it. The magnets are fine, it works well.

Dirk K.

I thought it would be a bit bigger, it's the size of the palm of a hand! In the picture it looks big but it's not. Quite small actually! Could be bigger... The material is light. Arrived on time without defects or problems.

a very educational and entertaining toy, I thought it would only be for children 🤭 but it also entertains adults

D
Daniele S.

The product is very good and worth it. It's just quite small, and when you try to place a cart in its position, the magnet ends up pulling the others along because the space between them is very tight.

Thank you very much this time ♪ I look forward to working with you again ^ ^

I like the product. Smaller than advertised. A bit rickety but the kid loves it!

P
Phillip S.

The box is dented, but the toy itself is intact. It's not so easy to park the cars because the adjacent ones also get magnetized; overall, the quality is good.

Before you order

The things parents ask us most about this one.

What age is it for?

Ages 3 and up. The cars are small parts, so younger children should not play with it, and play should be with a grown-up nearby.

How does the pen move the cars?

The pen is magnetic. Hold it upright against the board and the car above it follows; tilt it and the car may let go.

How big is it?

About 7.7 × 7.3 in (19.5 × 18.5 cm) and 1 in (2.5 cm) deep — small enough for a backpack or a car trip.

Does it need batteries?

No. It is a wooden board with a magnetic pen — nothing to charge.

What is in the box?

The car park board, the lettered cars, the magnetic pen on its cord and the picture word cards.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Order by December 14 and it should. Christmas falls on Friday, December 25 this year. Orders placed after December 14 may still make it, but we cannot promise it.

How much is shipping?

Free. Standard US shipping is included on every order, with no minimum. Delivery times are set out in our shipping policy.

A spelling game they ask for.

Lettered cars, a magnetic pen and a word on every card. Free US shipping.
