The maker measures flat, so allow an inch either way. Between two sizes, take the larger one — the bodice is faux leather and does not give.

Built like a dress, not a wrap
The bodice is a wine faux leather with a moulded bust line, so it holds its shape instead of creasing flat across the front the way a printed jersey costume does. Gold trim is a separate bound edge at the bust, the waistband and the hem of every skirt panel, not a printed line.
The back is open, with the gold straps crossing between the shoulder blades, and the skirt panels are cut and bound individually so they move apart as you walk. Wipe the faux leather with a damp cloth — do not soak it.
